Location
Kingston is the capital and largest city of Jamaica, located on the southeastern coast of the island. It faces a natural harbour protected by the Palisadoes, a long sand spit which connects the town of Port Royal and the Norman Manley International Airport to the rest of the island. In the Americas, Kingston is the largest predominantly English-speaking city south of the United States.

Bob Marley Museum - Jamaica's world famous son, singer-songwriter Bob Marley, was responsible for making reggae music a global phenomenon. The popular Rastafarian became a cult figure even before his death caused by cancer in 1981 when he was 36 years old. The museum devoted to his memory
Holywell Recreational Park - Jamaica Holywell Park is one of the hidden natural gems of Jamaica perfect for those interested in eco-tourist attractions. A three hundred area "park in a park" is the gateway to the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park (BJCMNP) and has protected status over all other areas.It is located 3,500 ft above sea-level in the cool Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park. It is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. With lush vegetation everywhere the park is often bathed in tropical mist.
National Gallery- Jamaica's important art collection is often overlooked by tourists, but is well worth visiting. The gallery displays the works of Jamaica's talented artists, particularly that of Edna Manley, 19th century sculptor and wife of a former prime minister of Jamaica.
Devon House - Devon House is one of numerous preserved historic mansions in Jamaica that depict the glory of days gone by. This house was built in 1881 by George Stiebel, a wealthy Jamaican who became one of the first black millionaires in the Caribbean.
Hope Botanical Gardens - This 20-hectare (50-acre) oasis of beauty in the middle of downtown Kingston features pleasant paths that meander past manicured lawns and tranquil gardens, including a cactus garden, orchid house, a forest garden and an ornamental pond.
Spanish Town - The neighbourhood known as Spanish Town is on the western outskirts of Kingston and was capital of the island under Spanish rule between 1662 and 1872. Today the architecture is an interesting mix of Spanish and British Georgian, and there are some historic attractions.
Port Royal - Port Royal was once a 17th century haven for a variety of hedonistic pirates and malcontents dedicated to looting Spanish vessels throughout the Caribbean.

The New Kingston Shopping Centre - Off Dominica Drive is the place to go for high quality and a wide range of products.
The Island Life Mall - On St. Lucia Avenue offers a variety of shops boutiques and even the Chelsea Art Gallery.
Sovereign Centre - Is Jamaica's largest shopping centre and boasts a plethora of western stores and boutiques as well as a food court and two cinemas.
Jubilee Market - On Orange Street is great for souvenir shopping as just about everything is sold here, from Bob Marley mementos and local arts and crafts to fresh fruit and the usual tourist tat.
Kingston Crafts Market - Which on Harbour Street, is also a good place for souvenir shopping - look out for wooden crockery, pepper pots made from mahoe wood, masks, straw hats and baskets.
